Dear citizens of Dukes County,

 

I continue to be grateful to have earned the support of the citizens of Dukes County and thank the voters for their confidence in me to take on this role. I look forward to the privilege to be able to continue to lead this office, and I humbly ask for your continued support as I seek re-election this fall.

As promised, I have been fully committed to my responsibilities as Register and have worked hard to ensure the highest quality of public service, providing experience, professionalism, knowledge and integrity. I am proud that in the past two years, under my leadership as Register, the Dukes County Registry of Deeds has many positive things to report. Since taking office in November 2016, some accomplishments at the registry include: automated consumer notification service, record preservation and digitization, updated website, improved resources and communication, and online availability of Land Court plans and the Grantor/Grantee Index. Currently, the office is working to make all registered land documents going back to 1908 available online by the end of the year.

I am continuing to explore updating technology and recording options to better accommodate registry users. My goal continues to be to make the registry as efficient and user-friendly as possible. As always, I thank you for your support and welcome your feedback.
